I assume the VCR should be cleaned often while I'm doing this.

It works and cleaned the VCR after the dustiest of old VHS tapes that I had stored away since 2006.

Ran it thru the VCR once and the VCR is working as new.

CleanDr is a good brand and make reliable cleaners for disks, so decided to try the VCR cleaner and very happy with it.

I was looking for a VHS Tape Head cleaner that used the liquid solution to help clean an old VCR I have.

for an elderly person's old vcr, trying to get them to go to a dvr w no luck, the cleandr dry tape cleaned the vcr ok.

Do not buy unless you are willing to risk it damaging your vcr.
