no needed if you have a smart tv); I connected everything on Saturday, after I scanned for channels on my converter box I had a clear picture on many of the channels

I found 66 stations in the scan, with a perfect picture of the main local channels ( 2-13).I'm surprised from it performance.

I tried this antenna downstairs, upstairs and in many spots, just when I thought I got it, the picture breaks up, in the attic - I highly doubt it will work, unless there's a window in the attic and its facing the broadcast tower and it is much closer than 35 miles
