works well, really needs to be outside for best reception and needs to be tuned towards the specific area to get stations

We still were getting crappy reception with most antennas.

A straight metal pole in the stand serves as a great mast for the antenna and allowed us to adjust the directional aim for best channel reception (the antenna mount J poles didn't give us enough flexibility of movement as we searched for the best reception)

Not all channels initially had clear reception, but after a few more attempts rotating the 4MAX and rescanning channels, I have eventually landed on 22 channels that are all more than decent, including all the big local channels I care about, and even a couple L.A. networks coming in from more than 60 miles away that I can't get with DirecTV.I'm very happy with the ClearStream and expect it will provide me years of enjoyment.

Excellent reception, went from about 30 to 50 OTA channels (central Austin, Texas) without droupouts... and that's just with it in my office
