They are the actual manufacturer behind many of the "top brands" that folks have raved about for so long

Unreadable discs, recording failures, data loss, failed menu - not every disc, and sometimes most discs worked fine, but most of the popular brands have proved frustratingly unreliable (Fuji seems the worst)

Even though this brand is more expensive, I will probably stay with it and avoid the other more "common" brands simply because I prefer to have the best quality storage media possible when transfering any DVD I want to back up or certainly when copying my home movies to a DVD, and so far this is the better choice I have found.

Perfect recordings using these DVD's, much better then other brands

The problem is that those famous brands change batches so one month you might get a great disc, then next month you might get junk

The brand is not well known outside Japan, but they have about a 60% market share in Japan

This is supposed to be an upscale brand and to get them at a good price I only buy on Amazon.

This is my preferred brand and I will continue to order from this company.
