Used a lot of expensive drill bits just like this on the construction site these work just as good as any I've ever used if not better can't beat the price for the money one normally cost 40 to $60 will be buying more

So far, this product has performed well drilling into metal enclosures

but I used the largest one drilling through the firewall on my truck and after 4 holes it was done, dull as hell

and I don’t need to waste my expensive drill bits to accomplish the same thing.

I bought a set of these 5-6 years ago for drilling stainless steel electric panels at work.

The case is a very nice extra, keeping drills organized and easy-to-find/select.

so I know how to drill into metal (lubricating oil, low drill rpm, let the drill do the work, don't push down hard, etc. . .)

Not the best quality step drills for any metal but work quite well on plastic.

I have seen much more expensive step drill bits in stores sometimes up to $40 each

Produced the holes I needed; just wish I had a better drill press to use them with.

Adjusted the speed of the drill press many times as well as a variable drill for the smaller bit with lubricant same results

this is so much better than using a drill bit especially in thin material or plastics, not like using a bit that the hole is just a tab to small and then the bit bits into the thin material that you are drill, with these drill try the fit if not fit drill a little deeper, love them you will too.
