I will be returning these bits and i will have to go purchase a bit that can cut through silly 16 guage steel.

They didn't have a sharp enough edge to get into stainless steel though.

I think these will be just fine for plastic to non hardened steel and certain steel alloys

However, if you have any expectations of using them on harder materials (eg, 316L or 304 stainless steel), then think again

The bit is pretty dull from boring the hardened steel of the wheel stud, but it did the job when basic drill bits would not.
