It barely clears the bed.

It works well when left in stationary position as a side table to our mother's lift chair, but is not wide (like you would put across a bed - as seen in the hospitals)

It's really the only rollable, adjustable TV tray or bed side table or craft tray you'll ever need

I have an adjustable bed and I can't reach my night stand when the bed is in sit up mode

I just wish it was a little taller to accommodate my adjustable bed (which is higher than regular beds)

Also flimsy, Only useful for overlap in a chair or something, not most beds using frames.
