Picks up police radar at a good distance even if they are flipping instant on function on and off on cars up to a mile or so ahead of you.

Very good distance

The radar units in the construction area are using K/Ka band and it detects them both at a very reasonable distance (between .5 and .75) even in heavy traffic

On medium setting it warned me like 3 times on time, a good distance ahead of a cop

Very accurate and works at great distances

In day light, even on a cloudy day, not just with the sun shining directly on the unit’s face, all four of the icons glow as if they are all equally lit up, and when the detector detects radar, the particular band it detects is no brighter than the other icons

Disappointing as it was a Father’s Day gift

it is easy to use, and works (worked) as it should
