For the money, I really appreciate the numerous features this detector provides!

I love the intelligent mute feature

The i-mute feature is nice and when in City mode a lot of the useless notifications are muted

I love the intellimute feature for when it is picking up some bastard signal and your stopped somewhere, it makes you not go insane from the beeping, I can pick up the state police for miles when they are coming at me with the radar on, I have not had nay experience with laser so far so cannot review for that.

Only good feature is being able to turn bands off and the volume wheel

Love the features but the range seems limited in my opinion.

That proved true in my case not so much to save money but to avoid paying for unneeded or ineffective features

and I can turn on and off the different bands like the spectra4 and the pop detection as they are set off quite easily in the city, the compass is pretty accurate from what I can tell in the best feature is the auto off as it senses your engines revolutions per minute in the cars electrical circuitry

Very good unit for the price, many features that are in the higher priced models.

Also, the mode on this detector that is meant to detect railroad crossings has a false alarm every time I am near a Chevy SUV and this feature cannot be disabled

Great function and features for reasonable price

problem being, if i were to be driving around a 70 degree corner, this detector wont pick it up until the patrolmans laser is either on me (too late) or right in front of me giving me only a few seconds to respond (makes the use of a radar detector pointless as you cant slow down from speeding that fast) i just had 2 seperate occasions this last wknd.... didnt alert until 1 or 2 seconds of seeing the sherriff.i literally about threw this unit out the window after that

This item doesn't really work as they indicate it does

The latch to remove the unit from the windshield mount is so far forward and stiff as to render it inoperable

Obviously and it goes without saying just make sure you're current with local laws about detectors as well as for bringing them onto military installations.
