The radar is amazing and well worth the investment, a speeding ticket is around $100-200, sometimes $300-400, this radar will pay itself off by saving you from just 1 ticket.

To test the accuracy I set this up next to my escort passport(expensive/very accurate radar unit)

So this is a nice little radar detector for the price, however the first one I got malfunctioned a few months after I purchased it

Great Radar Detector, I have used Cobra for years

If you ever had a decent radar detector before you would understand that this thing isnt that great, Its slow, its very quiet, if i have my music

In my mind, that means it does the job just as well as any Escort radar detector or product that costs far more.

Great radar detector, added another vehicle and it was a hassle swapping out detector all the time.

If you are looking for a good radar detector, you should be ready to fork out at least $250

If you are a radar detector snob, it's probably not for you as there are quite a few false alarms, but I don't mind some false alarms if it saves me a few hundred dollars on a fancy radar detector.

I bought this radar after receiving my first speeding ticket and it has definitely surpassed my expectations for such a cheap price

There has also been other times on a hilly road where it picks up the cop about a half mile down the road giving me plenty of time but some cons to this detector would have to be the false alerts after driving with it for so long i have mastered the sounds of false alerts (they beep different from a real cop) but every time you approach a new SUV with blind spot radar it will drive you crazy

problem being, if i were to be driving around a 70 degree corner, this detector wont pick it up until the patrolmans laser is either on me (too late) or right in front of me giving me only a few seconds to respond (makes the use of a radar detector pointless as you cant slow down from speeding that fast) i just had 2 seperate occasions this last wknd.... didnt alert until 1 or 2 seconds of seeing the sherriff.i literally about threw this unit out the window after that

so i get really confused as to why is going off
