The power is very low though, so for any kind of microwave cooking it would be impossible, and you have to increase the time to warm up most foods by 50-100%

I use it basically to warm up food

I use my microwave 4-5 times a week to heat things minimally - 30 seconds to warm up dog food, a minute to reheat a cooled off cup of coffee, 2 minutes for a bowl of soup

I-N-G and echo down the hall when my food or coffee is ready!

This one is nice and quiet, no buttons, and when the food is ready it just has one DING of a bell that's not too loud
