The batteries in the door sensors drain like crazy, and I'm using good Energizer batteries.
-
I originally gave this a lot of stars, but 9 months later ALL the batteries are dead
-
If they made use of a decent battery that lasted it might be a decent system but this is the pits.
-
And everything except for the panic button worked (the battery in the panic button apparently exploded and ceased to function which indicates these products might be sitting on the shelves a bit too long...) very well
-
Replacing the hard to find batteries cause the electronics to fall on the floor, so I am down one sensor.
-
So, the contact we thought was bad, only had a loose battery.
-
I replaced battery and still did not work
-
Soon I found that the expensive batteries I installed were dying too quickly
-
Poor battery life, Batteries for the window units may last 6-9 months

He saw the battery was loose.

I soon realized that the batteries were dying too quickly and i thought that the batteries I was using were bad
-
, so it looks like the original battery had got too low
-
only drawback is the batteries in the motion
-
I did have one of the door/window sensors come with a defective battery and probably the sensor being defective as well
-
This is important as a low battery will trigger false alarms when the system is armed
-
It works as it should so far.
-
Seems to work as it should but at least 2 of the batteries in the door/window contacts were dead upon arrival
-
The system works as it should.
-
The electronic parts are pretty durable ,as I have found out, as they fall to the ground and almost instantly disassemble from the impact
-
I did some thorough testing on all the components and they all worked as they were supposed to, and I haven't had any false alarms
-
After receiving it and setting it up, I found that it recommended T-Mobile, alarm sim, or AT&T, and chose T-Mobile for the price ($15 for 30 minutes, good for 30 days)

B & E's in my neighborhood prompted my purchase.
