    • I don't write reviews much, but I wanted to share my thoughts about this outstanding suture practice kit
    • When I try to practice deep sutures, such as the simple buried suture, the suture rips right through the silicone even when I pull it through VERY slowly and gently
    • This kit is one of the best suture kits I’ve seen and used out there
    • The sutures are cheap and lose their shape within several stitches

    • For what I needed to practice, which was simple interrupted sutures and knot tying practice, it works perfectly

    • For practicing interrupted suture, running suture, matress (Donati) and other types of "epidermal" surface are excellent

    • Lastly, the sutures sometimes can pull through and rip the silicone so I would recommend taking bigger bites of "tissue" when you practice suturing
    • It works alright for superficial sutures, although if you pull the suture through too quickly, it will also rip right through the top of the skin
    • The skin material seemed fine at first and without even over-tightening my knots they would just rip right through, not as sturdy as it should be which ruins the incision line because once the material is ripped you can't run the suture through that area ever again and once you do that in too many areas there's really no space to work anymore

    • It says there is a mesh to strengthen but this silicon kit lets sutures, especially the thinner silk, rip right through
