For a Nespresso product, this little portable espresso maker brews a smooth shot with a decent crema, too

and I have had no issues with brewing a shot.

It does take a long time to make one espresso shot, so I chose to use it with pre heated water to get my preferred 3 shot latte in less time, though for one shot, then cold water will work fine and can be brewed while driving or cleaning up camp

You can also put in already hot water and the shot is ready in seconds.
