that may have a smaller heat sink and would probably fit better in your alienware x51

I was against it at first until I realized that it was the same price as other memory without the big heat sinks and fancy looks.

The colored heat sink comes off easily, so install the RAM with care (don't hold by the heat sink when installing, but you can push on it to secure the RAM into place).

The heat sinks keep em cool, around 97F ish idle and 115F with load, such as gaming or running ram heavy apps

Easy to install and good heat sinks.

I purchased them for an ITX installation with a Zalman CNPS 8900 heat sink and they were too tall to fit with the heat sink

There needs to be a warning for those who have huge CPU cooler heat sinks, but otherwise they are excellently made and work without issue.
