When the computer first starts up and the fans are being spun up for the first time in a while, they make a horrible rattling noise and then mostly go away after several minutes

Noise is not terribly loud

When plugging one directly into the motherboard rgb header, the fans that don't work with the controller only have 1 or 2 leds light up and they blink instead of staying steadily light and also produce a very loud whining noise

Amazing colors, excellent patterns and low noise, just awesome when it works

Noise is pretty competitive with some of the better fans, and as always the more air you move and the more resistance encountered in the radiator, the more noise you get.
