She doesn’t like fan noise either and her hearing is much better than mine

However last night I was working on my computer and suddenly I heard a weird noise, and then a short circuit burning smell.

and then I noticed loud noises coming from the fan and a grinding noise that would come and go

The fan in my old power supply was making buzzing, grinding noises for a few months, so I bought this power supply as a replacement.

When my computer is under heavy load, this thing make a very annoying coil whine noise.

Although, with the size of the power supply, I doubt you won't have other components that will have more than enough fan noise so that you will never know how good the low sound is of the Corsair

As soon as any intensive thing happens such as a full screen game, this thing starts making horrible squealing noises
