The RGB works great and is cool if you want to personalize your build.

RGB WAS NOT WORTH THIS!

It is nice and bright, RGB, brighter than the old one, and you can turn the lights off if you're trying to watch something

The only thing is that the lighting "zones" are a little bit larger than I would like, and it's difficult to truly create that smooth RGB color "blend" that you see in other products

I do like the software - its simple to understand, and includes lots of temperature and speed information, and can also control other Corsair products if you have them (RGB Vengeance RAM, water coolers, cases, etc).Despite the cost, I prefer the Node Pro control over the remote, because I also have RGB keyboard, mouse, keypad controller, and headphones, and together I can quickly change the color palette of my system on a whim without having to dig around for the wired controller.
