On a AMD Ryzen 1600x I was able to achieve 3.9 GHz (up from the base clock by .3 GHz) at decent temps and could probably go to 4 GHz if I wanted to risk shortening the lifespan of the CPU, though it could also just be the silicon library at play

But I highly recommend this product especially if you want good temps with overclocking but don't want to set up a custom water cooling loop.

I have it cooling an AMD FX-8350(not oc) and I am getting idle temps at 10 degrees Celsius, and max 30 degrees under load

With this cooler the temp dropped to 15-20C and never exceeds 40C under full load

I always have great, low temps under load

Last week I turned my PC on and noticed that my CPU temps were extremely HOT!, between 96-100c

If stressing the CPU for long periods of time though, the temps would reach the same temps as an air cooler would, just an FYI for those who think it would keep their CPUs at 30°C LOL

If i set the bios to anything more powerful then "economy energy saving" mode the CPU temps would constantly be overheating, or nearly so even in normal operation

The cooler dropped my temps significantly and have no more issues with gaming and other random shutdowns related to temperature.

Idle temps are 5c cooler and Prime 95 maxes in the low 50s

My idle temps were 40C and it would spike to 80C all the time with this pump, but now with my new Thermaltake cooler has idle temps of 25C and a stress test takes it up to 60C after 20 minutes

A fair bit of wires from the pump that can make it a pain to manage.- Fans are good, but since I had Noctua fans laying around I decided to swap the stock ones, resulting in better temps and less noise

I brought it to 4.5 GHz, and it worked, temps were still very well kept under control, stayed at around 70C under full load

For a third time I re-mounted it and instantly noticed a huge mistake I made, which was the direct reason I was getting dumb temps.

I was worried because I know coffee lake is infamous for hot temps

keeps temps consistent at around 40 C idle and at 55 C on load

Idle temps are in the mid 40s with max temps reaching about 60c under very heavy loads

On the other hand, temps are excellent with 80ªC (I live at a hot place, your mileage may vary) at full load on an overclocked i7 920 @ 4GHZ

Once I managed to install the cooler without breaking anything, temps on my 1070 are fantastic: idling at ~35c and maxing out at ~50c

Not only were the temps a lot higher but the fan speed would bump up to 1650rpm every 30 seconds or so, because my cpu would spike in temps

My idle temp is about 35c, This is after turning the radiator fans down to around 1200 rpm (they can be a bit loud at faster speeds)

So I remount the unit, new thermal paste, re-read the instructions and plug everything in right, and temps are still crap

Excellent cooler, keeps temps well below normal operating temps with air.

With the EXACT same everything, this cooler RAISED the temps versus the 120mm/H60 by 5-10 degrees across my core cpu..... and that's on "Performance" mode.

Switched to the noctua NH D-15 and now have slightly better temps, much quieter, and should last forever

It singlehandedly saved my computer and keeps it at a great temp.

The temps are very good, compared to an air cooler, which is great to keep heat at a minimum

I use a stock Intel i7 8086k - at idle, temps hover around 29-30º C, while at 100% load via Prime95 test, temps hover around 70-71º C.I used the thermal paste that came pre-applied and no regrets

I enjoyed the low temps I had at roughly 13-30c

I would have preferred to stick with air cooling but the CPU temps i was reading on HW monitor software were excessive

Download the free Corsair Link software that will monitor all that's important regarding fans and temps, also change the color of your Corsair Logo LED on the pump itself

Cpu temps idle at 40-43C with the stock thermal paste

I had even included screenshots of the idle temps

This could lead to dust particles in the pre-applied paste and hurt your temps.

While I can't remember the idle and load temps from the new install of the H60 4 years ago

Now, the thing works great, dropped my temps from 38 C at idle, down to ambient room temp (27-28 C) without issue (cpu is skylake unlocked i5 overclocked to 4.0 GHz)

I have changed it to Balanced and after this change I started to get better temps

Finished securing it....booted up and voila....instant much lower temps.

While knowing your CPU temp is important, it's more important that you make your fans adjust speed (PWM) based off of the coolant temp

i7-6700k runs idle temp of 30C upon first boot.

So I opened corsair link and saw my idle temps were hitting 95-100c

Maybe I could get better temps if I bought high static pressure fans
