CORSAIR K68 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Backlit Red LED, Dust and Spill Resistant - Linear & Quiet - Cherry MX Red

    • The size is great, has usable media keys, and the genuine cherry mx switches at this price point is very appealing
    • I'm enjoying the cherry switches, they aren't silent but they have a nicer sound than what i had before
    • The keys feel a little on the soft side but have a firm response for those accustomed to membrane keyboards or softer switches, such as browns
    • Cherry Red switches are awesome.
    • Its super-clicky MX Cherry Blue switches are perfect for writing and, well, coding
    • no need to say how good the cherry red switches are, the whole chasis has some weight to it and it feels really solid
    • Nice lighting option, and fantastic switches.
    • But if you like red switch it is a good one for the price I got it.
    • I purchased a Razer Blackwidow first and out of the box the M switch was defective
    • Cherry Reds are well suited for gaming but may not be as satisfying as tactile switches for typing, although coming from using a membrane keyboard for years I can say that the K63 is much more pleasing to use
    • I really love the MX red switches
    • The Corsair program allows you to customize every single key to a different color or lighting pattern and the switches feel great
    • I learned on a mechanical typewriter (UNDERWOOD FTW) and these switches are just stiff enough to provide good tactile feedback.
    • Really low price for a great keyboard with the best switches for gaming
    • The mechanical Cherry MX switches on the keyboard means improved tactile response no matter whether typing or gaming
    • Also a majority of the keys are sticky and require a lot of force to be actuated, they feel like soda was spilled on them, even the switches look dirty and used
    • The switches are very responsive and nothing is sticky
    • Works great out of the box, all the switches feel consistent and the media button layout is sensible
    • The switches are wonderful -
    • The switches are TOO sensitive
    • Comparing this to the switches on the blackwidow they are OK, not as good as the razer green switches
    • But my gamer friends insisted that MX Cherry Red switches were superior for gaming
    • Corsair has been knocking it out of the park lately with these keyboards, this one is no different it is designed with the gamer in mind it features Cherry MX Red switches and a sub layer under the keys to protect from dust and liquids from accidental spills
    • The board is backlit in red and each individual key is illuminated - I like that.
    • I tape over the LED, which is fine with an LED I don't have to see.
