CORSAIR K95 RGB PLATINUM Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - USB Passthrough & Media Controls - Fastest Cherry MX Speed - RGB LED Backlit - Aluminum Finish

    • I was also always hitting the wrong keys or multiple keys at once because the spacing of the keys didn't work well for my taste.
    • The tactile and clicky keys are almost soothing and the colors, while a bit challenging to figure out at first, are nicer then those on my previous keyboard
    • Simple first and opinions last:MX speed vs Brown? The speed keys are nice, they are freaking fast, but the actuation of the stroke is such a small window that if you fat finger it becomes so easy to press the wrong key
    • While there is a toggle button for disabling the Windows key, there isn't one for the macros.
    • Macro keys on the side are extremely useful for gaming and could be a decent replacement if you’d rather not buy a mouse with mouse keys.
    • Pros:- "G" keys are useful
    • so if you press a key there are no second thoughts you will have pressed the right key or the wrong key
    • But the keys are louder than I wanted
    • For YouTube for instance, you can remap the media keys to work specifically with the shortcut buttons instead of having to be surprised that they normally don't work on internet videos (manufacturers please take note)
    • The keys are responsive and the lighting brings life to my otherwise dead gaming rig
    • I don't find the keys to be too sensitive
    • the macros are great just enough the media keys come in more helpful than i thought they would
    • If you want the fastest keys on earth with the cons that come with and will be performing very little daily typing then get the speeds
    • many broken keys over the years and those "brown switches" felt no different than a laptop keyboard
    • Been using it for a bit now and have no complaints, exactly what you would expect, really fast keystroke recognition and doesn't miss any keys in games
    • MX Speed/Silver Keys are super lightweight and fast and it took a while to get used to it, as I would rest my hand on some other keys not pressing it but with the super responsive keys it would register
    • If you want this for work, being able to change the key lighting color is a big plus, and the macro keys would definitely be useful.
    • Spectacular keyboard, i love the tactile feel of the keys and the nice solid construction, but my one complaint is that the keys are maybe a little TOO sensitive for my liking, I keep accidentally pressing too hard while my hand is at rest
    • I instantly fell in love with the feel and the speed (although I still sometimes fat-finger extra keys, and sometimes unknowingly rest a finger just slightly too heavily on a key and it actuates
    • Trust me the key you will use the most is the BACKSPACE key because the "speed" keys are SUPER sensitive and all you have to do is barely touch them for the keys to register a keystroke.
    • The wrist rest is incorrect( The wrist wrest is actually from a K55 keyboard and not even for the K95) and also is missing replacement keys and keypuller tool
    • The dedicated mute and volume options, as well as a dedicated RGB on/off key have been a very welcome change from my Razer board, particularly the on/off for the backlighting
    • The positives of this keyboard are the metal body feels solid, the letter and number keys all feel excellent to type and game on thanks to the speed switches, the lighting is gorgeous, and the overall presentation is very premium.
    • The programmable keys make life so much more fun when gaming and I having a volume knob right there is a major plus.
    • so if you press a key there are no second thoughts you will have pressed the right key or the wrong key
    • I love the raised keys so you can use a little air can and get any dust or particles off the keyboard easy
    • Important keys such as Tab, Cap Lock, Shift, and Esc, since the macro buttons are on the left side, they're all to the
    • I find myself hitting the wrong key more often than I did on the old membrane keyboards that I am using
    • I will say that the keys are super sensitive
    • The keys are too sensitive
    • The keys are very sensative so its not super fun to type but for gaming its a dream, also love the macros keys make things so convenient.
    • However I do still think the MX speed keys are still better than a slew of gaming keyboards
    • Great for MMOs or key rebinds+ Media Controls to adjust pc volume and so fourth+ A neat feature to "lock" or disable certain keys on the keyboard
    • This keyboard is good because it feels good while typing, and the RGB is beautiful, but the MX speed keys are WAY too sensitive.
    • I started looking for a tactile keyboard because I have MS, which has affected my ability type on laptop/membrane-style keyboards since the keys are very sensitive, have short strokes, and they don't have enough feel.
    • Only issue I've had is the one key on the lighting will sometimes it will stay lit as a different color
    • Another thing, the Macro keys sometimes don't work properly but after a computer restart they work.
    • This is not necessary for those who prefer the black original keys
    • Other negatives are that the shift, backspace, caps lock, and enter keys don't feel as smooth as the other keys when you don't press them right in the middle and the corsair software for this device is not very good
    • The keys are super smooth and faster than I am
    • The keys are very responsive and does take a little getting used to.
    • You can spend a little extra money and get less sensitive keys but honestly this has been just fine.
    • Grew up using IBM Selectric typewriters and IBM keypunches with great keys with smooth travel
    • The keys are smaller which leads to a lot of typos, also the programming software is so confusing, can not even program simple color schemes
    • also shift key so a little harder to push down and feels weird.
    • Another thing, the Macro keys sometimes don't work properly but after a computer restart they work.
    • I have it set to disable keys like windows, caps lock, and num lock
    • trhe rgb is fantastic and the extra keys on the side are great for macros
    • After few months the right shift key became not as stable and smooth as it used to be, if you press the edge (by
    • Compared to something like a custom WASD keyboard, you're getting six extra macro keys and the lighting effects, but you're missing out on the attention to detail and options for switches.
    • The previous K95's had 18 macro keys, but they killed 12 of them and only gave us 6
    • These are silent keys, with no tactile click or any feedback.
    • The quality of the RBG leds are awesome, and the extra keys are very useful, but somewhat complicated to program with macros
    • I like the keyboard a lot, but the keys are VERY sensitive
    • It is mega sensitive and has a learning curve but once you are past it, you will be flying while typing.*Pros: solid build, high speed, excellent features, ease of use*Cons: difficult software for LED controls and keys are pretty loud but neither of these things bothers me enough to knock off a star.
    • Love the G keys and the clicks are nice and soft
    • The keys are way too fat and widely spaced
