Now I did attempt to "clean" this cloth with water, and maybe over time the water loosened its grip on the cloth, but it was either

Maybe the top cloth surface could be replaced down the road as it is I think glued to it

Cloth is durable and smooth

Just get a nice cloth pad,

I will potentially pick up the hard surface version later but for now I opted back to a regular cloth mousepad that you can easily clean.

I opted for the hard version instead of the soft cloth version, as that is what I'm use to and prefer.

Actually own both the hard and cloth editions and prefer the cloth because I have more mouse control
