CORSAIR Obsidian 500D RGB SE Mid-Tower Case, 3 RGB Fans, Smoked Tempered Glass, Aluminum Trim - Integrated Commander PRO Fan and Lighting Controller

    • The fans are extremely quiet
    • This leaves the exhaust fan cable which lands on x3
    • It's really spacious with tons of fan mounts and water cooling options without being too big like the 900D. Build quality is great
    • With the full-size window, I use LED fans on the radiator it lights the case well
    • It comes with motherboard mounts already which was convenient and the fans are very quiet
    • And the fans are much easier to remove
    • Perfectly built with great stock fans
    • The top and bottom fan filters I clean off every few months, and again, it takes less than a minute.
    • However, the included rear fan has been making a loud ticking sound (obviously a bad fan) since I got it
    • I had a noisy fan come with this case.
    • The fans that come in it are decent and quietish
    • The 3 included fans work pretty well, and after using an older case with its stock fans, I'm amazed at how quiet Corsair's included fans end up being
    • The quality of the filter and the bad fan are on Corsair, though, giving this case four stars despite otherwise absolutely 100% living up to its claims of capacity and cooling potential.
    • The fans are nice and big and seem to push a lot of air through, plus the holes at the top allowing heat to
    • Pros:-Corsair HX1000i and H100i fit perfectly.-Amazing cable routing and hiding possibilities.-Removable and configurable placement of drive bays.-Plenty of cooling fans included although they are not the
    • The washable front fan grills like that on the 350D are a nice touch, and the magnetic top filter gave me one of those "hey now that's brilliant" moments
    • the cable management could have been done a little better on their part for those as well as the two front 120mm fans
    • It is incredibly easy to route wires for a nice clean build, it is solidly constructed, looks elegant is both quiet and cool with a proper fan setup.
    • Great layout, love the fans
    • The fans are really quiet as well.
    • After building, I've taken it apart 3 additional times in the past 3 weeks to tweak cable placement, and add some purple LED fans instead of the stock ones (purely aesthetic)
    • The fans are very quiet.
    • With the 3 LED fans, 2 140mm on top and 1 120mm on the bottom, the case really becomes eye candy.5
    • Full towerTop venting, possible fan venting.120mm to 140mm fan mounting in all fan locations
    • Everything is well constructed and sleek, and the fans are very quiet
    • These fans are super quiet, too
    • Lots of lighting, Lots of fan options and liquid cooling
    • Great airflow, lots of room for hard drives, fans and everything else that you might want to put it in.
    • Beautiful case; large size gives you plenty of room to work in; great quality; very quiet & cool fans
    • The fans are decently quiet, and it gives lots of room for cable management.
    • Any more fans would make the noise unbearable.
    • The fans are easily accessible for dusting off the blades, and all gaps and surfaces are really easy to access (even with all the wires to the mobo) to dust off what makes it past the initial filter.2. roomy & easy to access everything.
    • Came with very nice fans and every possible screws/bolts you would need for a new PC build
    • Water-cooled cpu and enough fans to keep me cool while gaming
    • Beautiful fans, and the room for drives makes it ideal for a NAS server
    • If you are running an air-cooled card I would recommend not doing this as there is not much room between the case and the video card in a vertical setup and you starve the fans of air
    • I went ahead and swapped out the front cover with the Airflow Intake kit to increase airflow and show off my Blue AF140 LED fans.
    • It came with three large 140mm fans installed and has room for three 120mm top mount fans or two 140mm fans
    • I added two LED 140mm fans on the top which look cool through the screen on the top
    • Just a tip with the dust if you want to keep slightly positive air pressure you will either have to draw air in from all the top fans (I have 3 120s and it should be noted that there is a spot for 3 140s even with the rubber grommets if you are willing to only have 2 available 5.25 inch bays) or have filtered intakes on either the back fan or the bottom fans (if you have any)
    • Only one complain the fans are a bit loud.
    • It only really supports 2 small 120mm fans
    • With an attached radiator up top, you will have two additional fans blowing air out of the top of the case.
    • the case alone can support 8 140 mm fans most have a removable dust filter that's easy to clean and re
    • one fan didn't work
    • Nice case but need better fans
    • Unfortunately if you want to route the exhaust fan cable behind the board in the back of the case it is too short to reach x3
    • Nowadays with overclocking there are needs around using watercoolers, extra fans - funny looking lights (to me, I'm old), etc.
    • The included fans are really quiet
    • Also has three nice and quiet fans that it comes with
    • Good ventilation, quiet fans, good filtering of air flow (I have a cat) and very stout.
    • so it is just as you'd like it, 6 case fan spots, super easy to clean everything
    • I wonder if the fans are struggling to pull air and that will degrade them over
    • The fans are quiet
    • Comes with pretty quiet fans
    • Yet, here we are, great fans mind you, but zero lights
    • The three large fans that come installed by default are nice, the tool-less HDD bays are really cool and work well too
    • by which I mean dual fan / closed loop radiators like the Corsair 100s or Cooler Master Neptune; and/ or multiple graphics cards.
    • the best case for the price comes with three huge great fans I am satisfied.
    • Mounting for liquid cooling/extra fans
    • A tray in the back rear collects dust from gathering in the power supply and on top has a magnetic filter that can be removed and helps keep dust from entering through the top fans
    • The cooling in this system is really efficent allowing room for plenty of fans, but make sure to pick up some LED lit fans to show off your hardware
    • I bought this for workstation use, but I think folks who play fantasy games, and like led lights and bright glowing fans might like this too
    • Keeps the fans quiet with plenty of air flow and room for upgrades!
    • I took out the HDD mounts and everything fit with plenty of room for the fans to flow smooth
    • I put in the best fans for noise and airflow they cost a pretty penny but are worth it
    • Mounting fans is easy and the dust filters are great for homes with pets
    • I was able to fit an 24-pin plug, 2 6-pins, an 8-pin, a swiftech fan hub, all the included case wires, and 5 fans worth of wires in the back without causing any flex or bend in the side panel despite my shabby cable management
    • the 3 fans work great
    • It also has spots for two fans on top (either 120mm or 140mm), and two more fans on bottom (though I didn't bother trying to get into them)
    • That sucks! The back fan is just a bit too bulky, and it will get jammed easily by a CPU cooler installed on the roof
    • Comes with very nice fans and a lot of room to work with
    • I would suggest some lighted fans and LED light strips if you really want to show off your components
    • Will be doing some custom work to it eventually, but it looks so good as
    • That thing is a pain to clean as it takes multiple wipes in order to get a small smudge off
    • This case really did not impress me as much as i thought it would
