CORSAIR Strafe RGB MK.2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - USB Passthrough - Linear and Quiet - Cherry MX Red Switch - RGB LED Backlit

    • The keys are extremely loose
    • few days later it's getting worse like some keys won't display colors correctly or only display one color.
    • The media keys also do not work in Windows 10 without the driver/software.
    • F9 key's LED doesn't work
    • I bought one of the cheap $30 keyboards and the keys were hard to press
    • A lot of keyboards I've seen have what I call "regional" back lighting, where one LED lights several keys
    • Bright read light and has that wonderful click when you pinch the keys
    • I love how easy it is to change the lighting profiles and make your own, even though it's plastic, the board feels solid and is easy to keep clean, I can hit the keys easily even though I have hands on the smaller side, and there has been no
    • No separate 4-key area for controlling my Spotify, and the "music" keys that have been combined with number keys simply do NOT work!
    • Works fine without that piece, I just can't use themacro keys
    • Also, the keys are nice and clicky and the red backlights are neat and programmable.
    • The textured extra keys and usb pass throught are a nice touch as well.
    • every game shows an actual improvement (vs normal membrane keyboards) the ones where this shines is in Rhythmn games, where you actually have to press super fast and quickly the keys, games like Osu!
    • The only con I think I have is how loud the keys are
    • The keys, while not completely separated from any blockages on the keyboard surface, are separated well enough for easy cleaning, and the raised sides are pretty gentle
    • it startted witht the 5 key and now affectts most of thhe toop two rows (includeing the number keys)).
    • Windows key) disable key would cause the keyboard to stop working
    • other thing is that sometimes the keys flicker a different color than the others, but that's rare, aside from that it's nice, the keys still look good after a few months and the indicator LEDs are nice and the lights are pretty :)
    • Those are the only things setting it back for me, it types very well and the keys being raised helps keep dirt from getting too stuck, a few shakes and almost gone
    • As a mechanical keyboard, this keyboard has louder keys than I am used to, although Cherry Reds are supposed to be quietest
    • The keys just feel so responsive to your touch.
    • Games since the dawn of gaming have used W-A-S-D for movement, but we all know the issue is it is sometimes difficult to stay centered on the S and you slip off to wide side and start hitting the wrong keys.
    • Amazon shipped the keyboard only with the keyboard box and as a result, a few keys were loose
    • No number 9 key simply not there
    • Very nice keyboard for gaming, ultra soft keys
    • (I Always take unboxing photos/videos after I got burned on time)Many of the loose fitting keys had fallen off and were floating around in the box
    • Its heavy in the hand (that quality to me), the sound when you type.....loved, the leds are bright enough and good animations (great), big keys and no lags or missed key in fast writing
    • I also really like having extra keys for my macros
    • keys on the number keys are rather hard to make out, should have been a bit clearer of a font
    • Sometimes you'll type the wrong key due to the sensitivity of these mechanical key
    • The functionkeys (F1, F2, F3, etc) are not really lined up above the number keys
    • The only thing I can really gripe about is sometimes when typing I scrape the wrong key and it mixes me up, causing me to have to restart my sentence, but you trade that for great actuation time for gaming.
    • Much more preferable to the 'soft' travel and smaller keys of a typical wireless keyboard.
    • The keys are too mushy
    • The effects are kinda cool, being able to light up only the keys you need is great for gaming in the dark.
    • Love the keys :)
    • All of the number keys (not the num pad) and all of the other keys with dual special symbols (i.e. / and ? or \ and | ) are all inverted than what they are with every other keyboard I've ever used.
    • I started getting VERY inconsistent response from left ctrl keystrokes, and as someone who plays video games, this is a very important key, and I really can't have a keyboard that doesn't always read the keystroke
    • Some keys also fell off really easy too
    • The keys are incredibly responsive though, and the "anti-ghosting technology" seems to be nearly-perfect
    • The added keys are also really comfortable
    • It came with a key puller that works great and a few extra keys
    • a win lock key, and a dedicated brightness level button
    • Its heavy in the hand (that quality to me), the sound when you type.....loved, the leds are bright enough and good animations (great), big keys and no lags or missed key in fast writing
    • nice keys so far so
    • Idk why you'd want to, but this is nice when you are playing games and are fumbling the keys
    • The backlit keys and ability to turn off the windows key are also pretty handy
    • But within 3 months of ownership the bottom left CTRL key no longer works
    • We all know how annoying it is when we accidentally bump that key in a game.
    • First mechanical keyboard, loving the cherry keys, better than the other Corsair because this has a white background to help show off the backlights under the keys
    • I absolutely love the textured keys and the texture on the space bar
    • You can do simple things, like disabling the Windows key, ALT+TAB, and ALT+F4 if you wish.
    • The gripped keys have raised angled ends (W on top, S on left side, D on right side) so it is easy to tell when you are on the correct key if you aren't paying attention to the grip feeling
    • The mechanical keys are crisp and firm and have a good feel to them.
    • All keys are programmable, but no special keys are provided unless you count the FN key to the right of the spacebar that replaces the right Windows key
    • Amazing effects, mechanical keys, colors, luminosity, I love it.
    • No doubt with the Corsair STRAFE.Combining the positive key feel with every key being user replaceable, makes this a great keyboard not only for gamers, but also for typists.
    • Half of the lights don't light up anymore, but all the keys still are perfect which is a miracle, because I've smacked the keyboard so hard that keys have flown halfway across the room
    • We're not talking about the entire keybaord suddenly going black out of nowhere, or ten keys all deciding they like the color pink out of nowhere and sticking with that, despite your protestations
    • The keys are bright, because of the red backdrop accompanying the red LED's, and the keys are fast and have an awesome sound
    • I believe the STRAFE is perfect for FPS gamers - no G1 - G20 extra macro keys you'd use for MMOs.
    • The keys, for one, and probably the main issue I have with this keyboard is that the keys are SO SENSITIVE!It's like if something were to just barely touch it, thats it, the whole keyboard lights up (depending on how you configure the light setting from the Corsair Utility Engine)
    • F9 key's LED doesn't work
    • While blue MX keys definitely feels better for typing, its just too noisy for people around you.
    • There are three levels of brightness you can select directly from the keyboard at the press of a button, and you can also turn off special keys as well, such as the Windows key and the Alt key, so as not to disrupt your gaming experience at the accidental pressing of one of them.
    • They are quite important in certain games with hot keys
    • I didn't replace the WASD keys with the included textured ones, but I liked the textured spacebar a lot more than I thought I
    • Pros:- Easily replaceable keys, and completely programmable
    • I chose the otherwise-useless Pause key for this; you can do whatever one you want
    • , Corsair has shaved money and space off of this keyboard by omitting the bank of dedicated programmable keys, replacing the brushed aluminum case with plastic, omitting the dedicated media keys (and other special keys, like those for macro recording or profile-switching), and dropping the wrist rest
    • The keys are like a butter
    • After barley 6 months of using the Strafe the M key had stopped working correctly
    • Consistent, very satisfying tactile response from the keys as well as a low-noise option for mechanical keyboards
    • The keys are comfortable and fast and there is a small bag of nicely textured gray replacement keys for the WSAD and Q and E keys
    • great gaming keyboard but keys are loud
    • It comes with replaceable gaming keys for the commonly used keys (qwerasdf, arrows, etc) that are supposedly stronger (though I haven't tested them) and have added
    • but I threw some 0-rings to make it a bit more silent and still the keys are very sensitive and responsive
    • The keys have a nice finish and excellent feel and I enjoy the quieter clicking and response from the keys
    • The red backlit keys are really nice in person and the pictures definitely do not do them justice
    • i knew all I can say is OMG this is by far the best keyboard I have ever owned in my life, the keys are stable and comfortable
    • Nice heavy keyboard with fast positive key
    • I was hesitant to which key I would like, cherry red is amazing!
    • Consistent, very satisfying tactile response from the keys as well as a low-noise option for mechanical keyboards
    • The mechanical keys feel wonderful and are absolutely precise, however they're not super loud and clackity like many others
    • It is actually pretty difficult to pull off the Good keys with your fingers
    • A unique feature of this keyboard is that the keys are elevated.
    • but I love the keys
    • My only complaint which is a fault on my part is I wish the keys were a bit louder
    • The keys are so smooth I don't care about the noise
    • PRO: Sweet RGB colors and nice mechanical keys
    • Bit of advice, some games I play use the top row of number keys as hotkeys for various abilities in-game
    • , Corsair has shaved money and space off of this keyboard by omitting the bank of dedicated programmable keys, replacing the brushed aluminum case with plastic, omitting the dedicated media keys (and other special keys, like those for macro recording or profile-switching), and dropping the wrist rest
    • However if you mainly want to play games and want the sensitive keys which click with even the softest stroke go right ahead and choose this one.
    • Here are a few nit-picks that keep me from rating it 5 stars:● The special characters on the number keys are UNDER the numbers
    • The keys are soft with very little travel before they register
    • I like having backlit keys and I love mechanical keyboards
    • The keys are solid, the lights are bright without being blinding, they have a great shape and feel.
