The actual switched gave me no problem at all they all even worked right out of the package and no springs can be heard very pleased with both the products i purchased even if i did return one

I used a razer blackwidow chroma for a year and used there Razer Green switches (Kailh Blues) and I hated those switches

If all you care about is gaming, then the red switches are great.
