Its working as intended, my old 600w power supply started making weird noises and i could not stand it

No smell of burning electronics, no noise, no noticeable fluctuation in power

There is an annoying buzzing noise that it makes

However last night I was working on my computer and suddenly I heard a weird noise, and then a short circuit burning smell.

The Power Supply works, but it has an awful rattling noise.

For some reason it periodically makes an awful noise, like it is a about to fail

Awful clicking/beeping noises from this unit under load

When i put it in, for some reason it makes an awful noise, almost like the thing is about to explode

From my personal experience and from other users I've seen, it can develop an unbearably loud rattle noise.

Fan also made a horrible noise.

Works perfectly out of the box...low noise and stable.

Recently the PSU starting making weird noises on PC boot up, almost as if the fan was loose but after a few seconds after the fan reached idle RPM it would go away

It does not have any harsh noises, buzzing, or high pitched whining like my previous generic PSU but when running at top speed you do hear a bit of oscillation in the fan noise

That is if you are deaf or don't mind the sharp noise of coil whine when you are doing demanding tasks such as gaming or anything more strenuous than web surfing

She doesn’t like fan noise either and her hearing is much better than mine

Once i turned that off it was still alittle loud but the terrible screeching noise was gone, until i loaded up a game, than the noise was back

When my computer is under heavy load, this thing make a very annoying coil whine noise.

Although, with the size of the power supply, I doubt you won't have other components that will have more than enough fan noise so that you will never know how good the low sound is of the Corsair

Either way it is a very annoying and disruptive noise that I could not ignore

Came damaged, made a really loud noise when I was connected

I ended up replacing this PSU with an XFX XTR modular power supply and the annoying noise went away completely as expected.

After 1 week of use the PSU started making loud whining noises when PC is under load

Superior O/U-Voltagage control and output is spot on per channel.
