I would like a harder case, but I had no problems

To keep them safe when in my backpack I also purchased the hard case by COWIN.

It would be nice if these headphone also came with a hard case rather than the soft bag that was included.

Would be worth investing in the hard case too if you plan to travel with them

I also complained that they didn't have a hard case for the headphones and they sent me a gift code to pay for it.

(I even bought a hard case for them and have never dropped them) so it's definitely no fault of my own that I own crappy headphones

Only one suggestion for manufacturers, the case was a nice bonus and I’m sure costs you extra to supply.

but I bought the hard case that goes with it, I have to say, for $8, why not

Once inside, they were very nicely packed in soft foam, no manual, just some survey thingy, a short micro-USB cord for charging, and an insulated pleather bag with a pull string for storage (im pretty confident that bag is what sealed the boxes together, no hard shell case like the site says.
