    • Not a problem - no caller ID provided, simply block and eliminate calls from that number in the future.
    • Blocking annoying callers is as easyas pushing the bright red button.
    • The CPR Call Blocker records all the times when a blocked call is made, so the count gives me an idea of when they give up; that is, the count stays the same after a whileI highly recommend CPR Call Blocker if you are trying to find a solution to deal with those annoying repeat callers.
    • I guess the large red button is intended to give you that sense of satisfaction, "take that you unwanted caller."
    • One of the reasons I bought this unit was to automatically block all unknown callers.
    • All VOIP numbers are block, unknown callers, private numbers and unavailable callers block.
    • Biggest issue is the caller ID doesn't show up on the phone.
    • I have had the CPR Callblocker V5000 installed for just a week now and the nonsense telemarketing and solicitation calls have been reduced from many a day, sometimes as many as ten a day and frequently multiple calls from the same solicitors in the same day, to an occasional call, but never from the chronic callers that I used to deal with daily.
    • Take that unwanted callers.
    • i have received far fewer calls than before i started pushing the button to capture unwanted numbers; however, i still receive too many because the blocker needs the number of the caller to appear on the screen: too many of my calls are from "unknown" or "private caller
    • I tried wiring the phone in series, which is the recommended installation, and the caller ID information didn't get passed onto the handsets, only showed on the CPR Call Blocker, which isn't usable as how do you know who's calling without walking to the base unit
    • Only one small complaint so far - when we press the "block now" button while on line with an unwanted caller, we don't always get a "successful" notice on the screen, i.e. the number isn't actually blocked.
    • Would like to see ability to download numbers for complaints to FCC for relentless callers.
    • This would allow getting rid of all those crappy Caller ID boxes (all extremely difficult to read) that are also attached to the phone line
    • It's great for taking out your frustration on another unknown caller
    • Its not blocking unavailable callers
    • You can globally block VOIP, unknown caller I.D., out of area I.D. and also entire area codes
    • When the standard setup did not work (Caller ID was intermittently passed from the base station to my DECT wireless phones), I connected the unit using the parallel setup.
    • a call is made from a phone that subscribes to CID, the caller’s name and 10-digit phone number are inserted in ALL CAPS a few milliseconds after the first RING
    • Phones plugged into other jacks in the house will probably still give one ring before cutting off the pest caller
    • We hope the trend continues, but at this point this has been an excellent purchase to prevent further disruption by annoying callers and brought normal life (via 'CPR') back to our home!
    • The booklet says you can block whole groups of incoming numbers such as “withheld/private caller” and “unavailable caller.”
    • Between this little black devil and a new Panasonic Cordless Phone set, which can block another 150 numbers and "Unavailable" callers, We also have Caller ID on our TV and can block calls on the handset in our den
    • Still, it's waaaaaaaaaaay better than it was before, having a way to fight back with these unbelievable masses of unwanted callers.
    • I imagine within a year another set of irksome callers will be out there.
    • However, in this setup, the caller id number does not pass through downstream (to the answering machine and the telephone)
    • You need to have the caller's phone number on the handset's Caller ID, which you lose when you pickup,
    • Love pressing the red button and knowing I done with another annoying caller!
    • Will block private callers, unavailable and unknown callers.
    • Because it contains 5,000+ pre-blocked known nuisance callers, my life is back to normal
    • Thus far, I've only had to block four unwanted callers.
    • We were plagued by "unavailable" and "private caller" calls.
    • Great for blocking annoying phone calls from repetitive callers
    • I would rate this product higher if I has a stronger Caller ID Signal on my 5 unit cordless phones.
    • I activated all of the optional blocking features (out of area, unknown caller, etc.)
    • On the bottom of the call blocker there are instructions for blocking all unknown callers, private callers and others
    • Prior to installing the CPR V5000 on my telephone line I was receiving calls about every 10 minutes from unwanted callers.
    • We have call blocker sitting next to our Panasonic desk phone in our den so we can see the displayed caller name and the phone number on both devices since the Panasonic already recognizes family and friend nicknames.
    • but we are not doing now to see how it goes: " Unavailable callers", "VOIP Rogue Dialers" - I need to do some research
    • and I have been able to block all repeating unwanted callers
    • It comes preprogrammed with 5,000 numbers of nuisance callers and we have only had to add three since purchasing it
    • You can also program it to block international calls and unknown callers.
    • Seriously, a unwanted caller calls in and on the
    • The caller ID continued to work as designed on the phone display and remote hand sets.
    • and I am unable to key in the number of the caller--appears the caller can delete their number.
    • I have experienced some of these issues and I blame these callers directly for these problems
    • The CPR Call Blocker works very well at discouraging annoying repeat callers.
    • So when the Call blocker blocks a "Wireless Caller" ID number that has NOT been entered in the Call Blocker V5000, or the Call Blocker does not block a call that has been entered in the Call Blocker V5000, there is no way to get help.
    • Instead, I opted for the Call Blocker with the pre-loaded scam caller phone numbers
    • Bought it because I had blocked 100 nuisance callers through Fios and ran out of room
    • I purchased this for my elderly family member and they are very pleased with it as they no longer receive unknown callers from morning until night.
    • Now, my telephone hardly ever rings due to nuisance callers.
    • It is even kind of fun to answer the phone, since it is so easy to block the number as soon as we realize that it is an unwanted caller.
    • But the nuisance callers are so much fewer and farther between, now, that it isn't that big of a deal
    • When an incoming call arrives, the “compacted” Caller ID (CID) is displayed on the Call Blocker’s small (unlighted) screen
    • This model gives you very specific control over individual categories like "out of area" (which I still allow), "unavailable" and "private caller
    • On the Standard setting, my Caller ID stopped working
    • Now we have to wait until the caller hangs up, press the Call List button to see the last caller's phone number, then press the Block Now button
    • Instantly eliminated nagging calls from unidentified sources and we're now blocking remaining unwanted callers one by one
    • On the Parallel setting, the Caller ID resumed working but unwanted calls had to be manually inputted
    • V***, caller unavailable and on and on.
    • Had it a few weeks and it seems that we are getting less "unknown caller" or "number unavailable"
    • so you have to turn them on like blocking out of area or unavailable callers
    • This model gives you very specific control over individual categories like "out of area" (which I still allow), "unavailable" and "private caller
    • That is better than 99% reduction in bad callers.
    • So even if the buttons worked the caller ID info wasn't there
    • It also seemed to be corrupting normal caller ID
    • Am totally satisfied as it is now quiet......
    • I expect it to work as it is advertised however I am disappointed that I had to look up the instructions online
    • We have had this device for 5 months and have blocked 116 numbers and as fast as we block a number another appears - we now get as many calls as before we installed the device -maybe more
    • so far it works as it says it does
    • We love this call blocker as it is easy to use and does a great job.
    • Love it!l Easy to use and the telemarketer calls are becoming a thing of the past!
    • (they are not that great= l-o-n-g time to talk to a "tech"
