The V5000 does pretty much exactly what it sets out to do: it intercepts incoming calls and blocks unwanted numbers by adding them to the internal database of blocked callers.

I recommend going through your caller ID list and adding all of the unwanted numbers on your list to the device by following the simple instructions provided.

That's not a big problem, except it also tries to block some of those spurious numbers, and we hear soft but annoying clicks during our conversations!

I activated call blocking for the 5000 known telemarketing telephone numbers, but not the overseas numbers (seems like a European feature).

I have had this for almost 3 months now and have had to add in only 22 more nuisance numbers

So far, my wife and I have manually blocked 8 nuisance numbers.

So in essence I now have the capability of blocking 1750 numbers by combining the two units
