Some tips are soft while others are firm, and this makes for some inconsistencies while coloring

The fine tips allow for getting into tiny places.

but the tip is softer so their is less pilling of the page.

Another alternative are the super tips, which doesn't have the name but they are a much nicer marker.

I didn't realize they were so fine tipped, just thought they were regular smaller markers.

They work well for hand lettering, and the tips have been holding up well even though I tend to use a little too much pressure when writing
