I would frankly prefer more colors, but I would like the primary colors if I were limited to 3.

The kit comes with three markers that can be stored in the projector but we used other crayola markers as well as three colored was a little limited

It says you can only use these markers (annoying - because you only have a few colors and if you lose them....)
