Bottom line is that it works as expected straight out of the package with the drivers already installed with XP/BIAB.There is virtually no documentation with the interface, but really not much to know other than the cable MIDI connector labled 'OUT' goes to the MIDI 'IN' port on the piano, and cable 'IN' goes to piano 'OUT'

This MIDI interface is NOT compatible with the Yamaha P-155

With the Yamaha P-95. the white LED flickers and turns off shortly after the keyboard is powered on

It's reliable, does what it's supposed to do, but has some issues with my Yamaha P-95, which is what Yamaha wants anyway, as they want you to buy their own MIDI interfaces which will perform better only on Yamaha keyboards
