I REALLY wish these didn't make a quiet high-pitched noise when on but not playing anything

I believe the buzzing occurs when plugged into newer USB ports i.e. 3.0(blue) because it had the annoying white noise sound when I plugged the USB into my newer 4k TV.

the speakers are about the size of a grapefruit; the sound is great; I don't care for Bluetooth, so the plug-in option was perfect for me; had a little bit of static noise at one point, but it didn't last forever; hopefully a one-time thing; pleased with this purchase

For my mac, the speakers would make a lot of static noises, especially when mac was going in and out of sleep mode

But other times as well, unexpected noises

Just from powering it up there is a loud screeching noise.

Unfortunately the noise is too loud to ignore so don't buy.

The last USB speaker I used had a lot of electric static noise

They STILL make this annoying noise when on but not playing anything

When I connected them to the usb of my laptop, they were making a slight annoying noise

No more static noise when problem.

They are also a little more tinny than the cheap-o speakers they replaced
