Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 Portable NFC Bluetooth Speaker with aptX/AAC (White)

    • Friends of mine use the jam box, which is a bit smaller and easier to tote naturally
    • Of course its a bit more bulky than the Charge and less portable and not as resistant to the environment as the Charge is
    • It's also a good bit less expensive than those though
    • Update: my box die a little bit after a year meaning it's out of warranty
    • A bit too loud for my taste
    • I was a bit skeptical to here that this speaker would rival the Bose mini
    • It does begin to distort a bit at max volume, but they all will do that
    • I must admit I was a bit skeptical about it when I laid my hands on it
    • It is not a replacement for the Bose(tm) systems but it's very nice and a good bit cheaper
    • However in my opinion it is every bit as good
    • The highs distort a bit on the Jambox at higher volumes but are smooth on the other two
    • I could get picky and say that the digital recorder is a bit weak because you can't delete files using only the speaker controls
    • It's also a good bit less expensive than those though
    • A bit weak on highs and bass.
    • but the Roar sounded a bit brighter on high tones
    • Although, James Earl Jones does seem to have a bit of head cold with it (grins)
    • And the "ROAR" setting has a bit too much high frequency for my taste (background hiss on some songs), but the sound from it under normal configuration is still excellent
    • bit disappointed there since the microphone doesn't work when you connect to usb
    • Definitely a bit louder than the Bose, and the sound is a lot clearer and bassy than the Bose can get at max level; the great deep Bose sound degrades at high-max volumes
    • A bit lighter and easier to carry than the 1 for sure
    • Once I ordered it, i will admit I was a bit skeptical because the reviews were so positive, but I am happy to say that it is by far the best portable speaker we have come across.
    • But I enjoyed every bit of it!

    • The Roar is a very nice B/T speaker with lots of features
    • I was so impressed that I quit working for a while just to enjoy what I
    • Fantastic!I was *this close* to ordering another compact speaker (rhymes with rose) when I happened upon a review for this little beast
    • Some may be frivolous but he majority are useful t and work quite well
