Creative Sound Blaster Roar 2 Portable NFC Bluetooth Speaker with aptX/AAC (White)

    • Great Device, I love it
    • This device is remarkable
    • awesome sound clarity, decent bass response, great battery life, the ability to load a micro sd card makes this a very flexible device, and yes it will fill a room with very clear crisp sound, music, movie, or even playing a game on a tablet, just fantastic.(edit

    • Equally important are the features that are power packed into such a small mighty device
    • Overall i am very much satisfied and do recommend this device.
    • It is a good little device
    • This speaker has many features including being able to charge your portable device using the USB port, play mp3, WAV and WMA files using the built-in microSD reader, support Bluetooth and NFC (near field communications) pairing and a 3.5mm Aux in plug.
    • Finally, a device like in "Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner" where the houses have radios and TVs which can't be shut off because, after all, why would anyone want to shut them off
    • Nice device
    • Excellent device - great sound and functionality.
    • This is probably the most flexible device in a smallish package that I have every used
    • It's a fine device, and far better in it's range of sound than any other Bluetooth speaker I've owned
    • This is a great device
    • I really enjoy this device
    • You can easily pair any NFC-compliant device to
    • I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy again, knowing that this device is solid and does exactly what it is advertised to do
    • I do enjoy my music and I enjoy listening to it on a good device, so although I am a layperson, I'm not coming at this from the perspective of ignorance
    • The Sound Blaster Roar seems to be a well built device with lots of features.
    • so if I use it as a portable device I can take my music with it and not worry about having to use bluetooth
    • Initially I really gave this device a poor review because it did not work as a sound device for my computer as advertised
    • There are ports for a micro SD card, USB to connect to your computer, USB Out to charge a smart phone or similar mobile device with included adapter (dongle), and an AUX input to accommodate a 3.5” mini male stereo plug.
    • Outstanding device.
    • Indeed, it is a solid feeling and solid looking device that delivers as advertised
    • Besides that, it is a very versatile device allowing connectivity to almost every device and in a number of different ways.
    • It turned out that after 2 hours of running this device at a medium volume range the neighbor knocked the door and asked us to decrease the volume, that's when I knew I made a great buy.
    • I believe the devices is rated to run for about 8 hours or so before dying, however, as the battery drains, the max volume gets lower and lower as it plays
    • You have these marvelous electronic devices - a phone smarter than your geeky neighbor; a tablet that could have powered all of NASA in the 1960's; or a notebook with more memory than anything (except your ex-wife when the alimony check is due).
    • That's the small detail I enjoy this device talks to you for certain function's, ever have a BT device you don't know if it's in discovery mode or already connected annoying a little
    • loud and clear spacious sound from such a compact device, very impressive and feature packed.
    • Being an avid music fan and audiophile, I seem to always find myself in need of a versatile output device for various audio applications.
    • Could only have one device paired at a time, but even at that, I had trouble un-pairing one device and then pairing and using a second device.
    • Amazing sound from a compact device like this
    • This speaker has plenty of features such a NFC compatibility to connect your device, ability to charge your phone/music player from the speaker, ability to hook up directly to your computer through USB, ability to charge through both the supplied A/C adapter and USB, as well as being able to use it as a hands-free device for your smartphone
    • Pairing via Bluetooth is a piece of cake, and it is especially easier if you have an NFC-capable phone or device
    • You can connect the device with the microSD directly to the computer to manipulate the data on the SD card
    • I've been a fan of quality sound for years and have had difficulty finding devices that live up to that standard.
    • Tried with both Apple and Android phones, this creative device for no reason loses connectivity with the phone and songs break while playing and this happens even when the phone is lying next to the Creative Roar
    • Excellent device for the anyone looking to enjoy their music library on their portable devices or from streaming services
    • Excellent device!
    • The devices loses a half star because of this (and I debated docking it a full star).2.
    • So even if you don't have a bluetooth device handy, you can still play music for hours
    • This is a great device
    • BT* Connect to not-so-smart devices with a line-in
    • I would recommend this device to friends
    • Easily the best audio device I've ever owned
    • It easily connects to my portable devices, has a lot of nice features, is a solid quality build, and most importantly is musically awesome sounding for such a small package.
    • If you are looking for a portable sound device, look no further.
    • Awesome device
    • meeting leaders will like the Roar as a portable and very loud device to amplify the output of video/data projectors
    • Even with such interference, the device recovers nicely without locking up
    • I would highly recommend this device to others.
    • Very satisfied with this entertaining device.
    • I still can not believe my own hears, one awesome device
    • Third, this device also works well as a quick way to listen to recorded tracks from Garage Band on my iPad.• The teleconferencing feature seems to be a great idea.
    • Compare it to any Bluetooth portable device
    • The build quality and the packaging absolutely top notch and i am sure i will be keeping this lovely device for the rest of my life!Thank you Creative for continuing to make such high end and high quality audio products over the decades!
    • Otherwise, the device is great and i'd still recommend it.
    • Overall, an impressive device!
    • Multi device works very well (just so long as you don't expect to be streaming audio from two different devices at the same time)
    • I love this device so much that I am giving them for Christmas presents.
    • So, what does all of that have to do with the Soundblaster Roar?Everything!I'm not going out on a limb at all if I tell you that the Roar is the least expensive, truly musical device that I've heard in years...maybe ever
    • In my opinion, the device should play at a steady loud volume until the battery dies
    • Overhaul it satisfies my number 1 objective of a portable music device that will play by itself from the micro sd card
    • It is my second Creative portable sound device
    • In summary, I would highly recommend this device to anyone looking for a good value on a bluetooth speaker providing excellent sound quality.
    • This device is cool.
    • The device is very heavy duty and solid, just like the Bose Mini
    • I would say that this is clearly a superior and louder device than the Bose Soundlink Mini.
    • We are dropping sirus radio because we have this wonderful device!!
    • The Features are much more than any other more expensive device.
    • The creative labs in sound alone would smoke any other device of this size and even bigger and wound not have a fraction of feature's (features that make sense not gimmicks
    • Probable not the best device for my line of work and would be great just filling a room or office with music
    • very good Device Features
    • The built-in MP3 player via microSD makes both devices excellent devices
    • This powerful device is sure to make the floor rumble!
    • The SBRoar has excellent sound for a portable device
    • The device loses the second half-star for this omission
    • It has a lot of flexibility with NFC capabilities (which makes for really easy connecting with compatible devices: I have used a Nexus 5 with it), the ability to charge phones with it via USB, and a couple of charging options (USB and regular wall plug).I'd highly recommend spending a few extra dollars for this unit
    • I was so impressed that I quit working for a while just to enjoy what I
    • Fantastic!I was *this close* to ordering another compact speaker (rhymes with rose) when I happened upon a review for this little beast
    • The A/C adapter charging quit working yesterday (two indicator lights on the front display) and I tested the power cube...it was still outputting the proper voltage
