The SB Roar has acceptable sound and great features.

Great sound, links easy with my iPhone and good range for the bluetooth connection, and we haven't even begun to explore all the features available with this speaker.

I also don't have any experience about using the micro USB slot for charging yet, but according to the Q&A this should work, which is a nice feature since the separate DC plug is not small.

It does have some gimmicky features but if you want a Bluetooth speaker that has big sound for minimal price this is where you need to be.

The roar also comes with lots of useful features but most wont be utilized by the average consumer

There are also some really cool "James Bond" features, which add functionality you just don't get with any other speaker
