It has some kind of bell that rings when money is put in it, but the ringer sounds like some cheap phone you'd get at the dollar store

it is amazing the ringer exactly as in the 50s original and the look WOW

The only drawbacks are the chrome accents are over plastic and there is a modern ringer on the telephone.

I would have been ok with the phone if it had a good ol fashon ringer.

To add insult to injury the electronic ringer is so weak it can hardly be heard more than a few feet away, even on its highest setting
