There were enough 5 star reviews that I decided to get a replacement and see if I was just unlucky

Believe the worse reviews, we aren't exaggerating

All the complaints and bad reviews that were written, I haven't had one issue to note (granted I never tried to save the LP tracks on the computer via USB or use the headphone jack) but the external speakers are more than sufficient for mine and my fathers needs

I had read other reviews that expressed concern about low volume, but I've been enjoying old records since I received the unit and don't have any complaints at all--plenty of volume to fill up a room.
