I had considered the option of getting her something much better and setting up a receiver and speakers for her so that she could get a better turntable for her, but this seemed like an acceptable first step to see if she even liked vinyl.
-
I quickly learned I valued my records and buying a cheap turntable would only damage them
-
I think if you plan to use this occasionally you can't go wrong but for a real music enthusiast I would suggest investing in a better quality turntable.
-
Turntable is sub par and destroys the records you play on it even after changing the needle it came with.
-
This is the 3rd attempt I made to buy a Crosley Portable turntable and each one I got seemed to play too slow
-
I did a little research into other people having the same issues with this player and just concluded that this is a cheap beginners turntable
-
We don't need some fancy turntable, just one that actually plays the record true.
-
For real, warm, room-filling vinyl sound, you'll need to step up to a proper turntable -- not a little all-in-one portable -- but you already knew that
-
I purchased this as a gift and it did not work because the turntable is uneven causing the record to not play correctly
-
It is a compact yet a very successful turntable.
-
someone make a high quality portable turntable
-
Aesthetically this turntable is beautiful but the quality is not great
-
It shouldn't even qualify as a turntable.
-
I'm a life-long vinyl enthusiast with a substantial collection of records and several decent turntables (VPI and Technics) fitted with good cartridges (Audio Technica and Grado)
-
But, I was lucky and found a great old turntable set up (+same speakers from before) and it plays ALL of my records wonderfully!I thought people were being snobs about Crosleys, but there is a distortion problem with them.
-
Great turntable for the money
-
Especially since it is not all that much cheaper than the Audio Technica ALP60, which is a pretty nice turntable.
-
As I have done more research, I have learned that Crosley's are cheap, entry level turntables
-
3-Speed Turntable with Bluetooth, TurquoiseStarted out well and enjoyed it for the first couple of days, but then it began waiver in pitch no matter what vinyl we played
-
The turntable on my Crosley is uneven and records look warped as they turn...and the sound is reflective of that.
-
The speakers are really tinny, but it's a fun little turntable and it's got audio out if you want to plug it into something louder.
-
Three months later; the turntable has become unusable as it plays the records too fast.
-
I love this portable turntable
-
Once i received the adapter in the mail, I discovered the turntable was uneven and rendered useless for any playing
-
This met my expectations and is a great low end turntable
-
Really cool retro look, sound is good for what it is and overall just a solid portable turntable from a trusted brand.
-
I tried to get my daughterto consider a decent modern turntable with a set of powered speakers which would have been light
-
but then I connected my cell phone through Bluetooth an the speakers were as bad as before
-
I did purchase a Protection Agreement just in case, as well as, a backup needle.
