The pencil works fine, but the barrel of the pen does not turn to release the writing point.

The pencil is smooth and doesn't have any wobble like you often feel in cheaper mechanical pencils.

Even though I am unhappy with the pencil I received, I will not be sending it back, as it is still better to write with than the cheaper pencils found in most drug store.

I like the pencil because it is easy and convenient to install the .7mm lead, and adjusting the lead for use is precise and smooth.

I like this pencil because I learned early inLife that successful business men always carried Cross pencils and pens.

This model requires the user to stop and "twist" the pencil.

This set fixes that miss, although the pencil isn't as good as it use to be...

BTW, Amazon incorrectly says the pencil uses .05 mm leads; it actually uses 0.5 mm

The pen is roughly .25" in diameter or about the same size of a number 2 pencil

I happen to hate pencils in general, as they are typically either frustratingly poorly made (most mechanical pencils suffer from the lead snapping off with little pressure applied), or just plain ugly looking.
