I will take my partial refund and purchase furniture markers (1 for the black legs and 1 for the table top) and the 6 screws and still walk away with money for the overall inconvenience.

The table top and bench tops themselves are sturdy solid wood.

It was easy to put together and there were no dings or scratches as it was packed very well
