I would like to see it put a little bit more butter on bread / buns specifically.

It does a great job butteriif you like toast or toasted hamburger buns

Maybe took me a minute per bun (top + bottom)

It takes longer than expected for the butter to melt due to the fact that the container is elevated

The container gets hot in the process and it has no handles, just a rim that gets hot as well

The pan itself can be used solo to have as a handy basting sauce container, for instance.

From some of the pictures of this product it seems like that used to be the case (in some pics the container is a lot deeper than the one I received) , all I can assume is that the folks over at Cuisinart took that feedback and made the correct adjustments

I'm trying to figure out something to put in there to reduce the volume of space so that it will work with one stick.

The wheel sits above the tray in a way that a good volume of melted butter has to be in place underneath it for it to work right and butter stuff on it when the wheel rotates

It's made of great materials (wouldn't expect anything less from CuisinArt) and seems built to last

The concept behind this product is great but it is clunky to use

I think it is a great concept, but poor execution, not to mention the real estate this thing takes up in my kitchen that is already lacking in extra storage space.

It takes like 2 sticks of butter for it to really work and if your just making a meal for family its not practical,I think its more for redturaunt style cooking.

It’s probably going to be fine, but know with one stick of butter, it won’t even reach th wheel, takes 2 sticks of butter to work!

I'm not sure about saving and re-using the contaminated butter, but hate to waste a stick every time.

It's so large, in fact, that one stick of butter just won't cut it - you really need 2-3 sticks of butter for it to work decently well

The idea is to melt butter on the grill (or in the oven) and roll buns, corn or whatever over the wheel for convenient buttering

OK, so this is a little odd, you have to melt the butter for it to work, and you have to hope the butter stays melted before you are done using it.

This thing is an absurd butter spreader which makes the top ten list of worthless items.

We're ready for the 4th of July with this great butter well.

Easy to clean - just pour unused butter into mason jar and place in the dishwasher.
