The blade is sharp enough that it picks up any spot on the grill in order to make it a clean sweep.

Blade is replaceable once it gets worn down not sure where you get it or the cost though.

The notched area on the cleaning blade has SCRATCHED the surface of the griddle to the point that I am unable to get consistent heat on that area of the cooking surface

YES... the blades are stainless

Can just wipe the blade with a paper towel while cleaning.

Heavy duty, you can unscrew the blades off to clean it easier, you can put a lot of strength into it and it hold very well.

Great grill scraper, however when the blade gets dull you have got to throw it away.

Not much to say other than its built well and works as it should.
