No more coffee grind mess once you understand the tricks of the trade

So, the design flaw is the lid... when you make coffee you lift the top lid and put the coffee grinds in the filter.

The top is supposed to flip back (and stand up) to allow you access to fill with water as well as remove/add coffee grinds

2) the lid on the pot is a pain - must be completely removed to fill with water - we've forgotten to replace it twice and ended up overflowing the basket and a pot full of coffee grinds.

, has a button valve that need to be pressed by a hump on the ridiculously cheap carafe, but if you are not as careful a surgeon placing it(the button valve pushes it askew) and valve wont open causing a complete and absolute failure with coffee grinds absolutely EVERYWHERE

and it wouldn't brew the full amount of cups I intended along with coffee grinds in the coffee it did brew.

On my FIRST brew it overflowed at the top with coffee grinds

When making 8+ cups, the coffee grinds seem to spill over the filter and enter the pot.

This product also comes with two containers to put the coffee grinds in

I made the mistake of buying a cheap-o Mr. Coffee with a basket filter and was sorely disappointed

I will be returning it to get money back as I no longer have faith in the quality of these machines
