Had this coffeemaker for several years and liked it so much that when it finally burnt out I wanted to order the same unit again.

There are a couple of things I don't like, but for the most part, it's a good coffeemaker

However it's still a great coffeemaker.. replacing every five to seven plus years isn't so bad.

As I said at the time, this coffeemaker has to be considered consumable - so if you like the coffee that it makes, and you like the way it fits on your counter, you have to buy it over and over again

On top of that when your coffeemaker goes bad they expect you to pay the shipping on the old and new unit, even though it's their coffeemaker that went bad

Since this is a household of two people, we would like a smaller coffeemaker, which consume less electricity.

I'm still happy this comes with a 3-year warranty, because that means I still have a great coffeemaker (which happens to be new after 2 years!).

I purchased this coffeemaker from Amazon in Nov, 2010 and it completely broke in less than 4 years of use (the product only has a 3 year warranty).

I thoroughly cleaned it as well as I could, tried different filters, coffees, amounts, etc

Somehow the coffee in the DCC-2650 does not taste as good as when you use the DCC-1200!
