It's a nice looking unit with good features...but not worth the premium price due to the faulty construction and defects.

Additionally, the cleaning feature never worked and when I called the company, shortly after receiving it, they wanted me to send it back at my expense (!).

Never used the self cleaning feature since I soak it in straight vinegar every 2 months

I also love the special feature it has that allows you to brew a decent small pot of coffee if you just want a cup or two

The self clean feature is neat

The programmable feature failed completely at 26 months, and now - at 32 months - the burner plate rarely gets hot

One of the best features of this unit is the ability to change the heating temperature.

Makes excellent coffee, offers 3 carafe heat settings for those who like coffee a bit hotter (me!) and has nice programable feature - easy to use

Besides those two annoying features, this is a really good coffee maker.

The features are widely available in coffee makers - no unusual bells or whistles, just 13 solid years of use made me a believer.

Coffee maker looks great and has all features I need but cord is so short I can't reach outlet from spot on counter.

My husband loves the automatic timer feature because he likes his coffee ready and waiting when he gets up

makes GOOD coffee and fast - A-

We wanted to be able to program a coffee machine and have coffee ready when we get up in the morning, as well as make larger batches when needed

I thoroughly cleaned it as well as I could, tried different filters, coffees, amounts, etc

Somehow the coffee in the DCC-2650 does not taste as good as when you use the DCC-1200!
