Once you're done making coffee, you need to open the top lid and let the inside dry out

It works great, but I was disappointed the proper lid was missing.

The lid/pot leak consistently when you are adding water to the reservoir.

The carafe has a nice, tight lid so that it does not drip when pouring water into the well.

Lid on the coffee was flimsy and to difficult to take off and on for cleaning

So, the design flaw is the lid... when you make coffee you lift the top lid and put the coffee grinds in the filter.

This replacement is lighter in weight, did not give it a thought till I tried to open the lid when it was hot (brewing).. the plastic must be thinner and warps,lid makes noise when closing,.. if it closes

The lid is a pain to use

The lid on the pot could be easier to take off

We broke the lid and had to buy a new one.

Needless to say this plastic lid will begin to warp over time which results in great about of steam released from this area.

The least was the clock because it is hard to read and the not so easy opening lid.

The first problem is the lid which others have noted is not hinged but rather must be pried off everytime

The top lid is plastic, which is the funnel / conduit for your steaming hot water, which is an interesting design choice.

I will be returning it to get money back as I no longer have faith in the quality of these machines
