There is no easy way to clean this, as the grounds continue to fall back into the water tank and just make your coffee terrible.

The water tanks can be a pain to fill, if you're not paying attention, but that's a minor personal complaint

if you order a replacement carafe (about $15-20)There is another model with a insulated metal carafe - it fits in this coffee maker, in a pinch (while I was waiting for a replacement for my glass one).I have used Bunn's for years in the office - it's even faster, but the catch is that it uses a LOT of electricity and has to keep the water tank hot all the time, so it's not very energy efficient

My only complaint is the water tank measurement is almost impossible to read.

Also, it has a charcoal filter for the water tank, I recommend changing every six months or so.
