Cuisinart DGB-700BC Grind & Brew 12 Cup Coffeemaker (Black/Brushed Chrome)

    • Even when it miracles you a ground-free pot of coffee, the clean up is worth mentioning
    • Anyone who likes fresh ground coffee and likes it strong and hot will love this coffee maker
    • It does what it says it will do with the burr fresh grind coffee but as any coffee person knows it's only a great cup of coffee if the temperature is correct and stays there till the last cup.
    • We also don't have to clean up coffee grinds that fly all over the counter from grinder to filter
    • Great product, works fantastic, fresh coffee grind and brew.
    • In my opinion the best grind and brew!!
    • We enjoy fresh ground beans with this post.
    • Set the timer and it has perfect freshly ground coffee the next morning.
    • The Cuisinart DGB-700BC is the best machine for with ez fresh grind and brew.

    • Nice hot pot of coffee with fresh ground beans.
    • Highly recommend for those who enjoy fresh ground coffee.
    • Once you clean your machine as instructed (and it can be cleaned very easily and very quickly), you will find that this grind and brewer is not only efficient but also makes great coffee.
    • Still if you love coffee fresh ground, this thing will get you what you are looking for
    • Only reason not at 5 stars...it is a little bit of a chore to keep the ground chute clean...but for me, set at medium grind for 8 cups, fill up the pot to 12, and let it go.
    • Would have loved it if the grind were adjustable, if even a bit.- Cup count
    • I love my grind and brew
    • This coffee pot is not quite as maintenance-free as I would have wanted, however you can't go wrong with fresh ground coffee every morning
    • Nothing better then a fresh ground cup of coffee, set to what ever strength you prefer
    • The grind is a tiny loud, but I suppose a quieter grinder would be much more expensive?!
    • If you keep the grind chute clean (read the instructions) and run a pot of vinegar water through the unit once every two months or so, no reason why this unit shouldn't prove to be as durable and satisfying for you as it has been for us.
    • I enjoy getting fresh ground coffee every morning and not having to transfer grounds from grinder to coffeemaker
    • Its a great grind and brew coffee maker, until the plate decides to overheat, turning bright red, even after the machine is turned off
    • If you have it dialied into 10 cups AND the strenght set to strong this sucker will end up grinding anout 13 cups of beans
    • Glad someone still makes a reliable grinding and brewing coffee maker
    • Also, if you have someone sleeping, and you want to make sure nobody wakes up, you can always set the program (or without program) to just use ready ground coffee from the basket (you will have to prep it accordingly
    • Fresh grind coffe in the morning is the way to start the day
    • Delicious fresh ground coffee, every time.
    • the taste difference between fresh ground and pre ground is mind blowing
    • There is nothing like waking up to fresh ground coffee in the morning, ready to pour in our travel mugs and go
    • The Conair Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker that we recently purchased is easy to use and clean and It makes great tasting coffee
    • Wonderful delicious fresh ground coffee.
    • This "grind and brew" coffee maker was a big disappointment
    • I do wish another company made a dependable grind and brew 12-cup coffee maker..
    • But this combination also results in the user having to pay attention to the set-up (line up the arrows on the grounds basket, yo) and consistent cleaning (not all the ground coffee travels through the chute into the basket cleanly and it is a fine grind and its path to the basket can get clogged fairly soon if you ignore it too long.)
    • so I can sneak a cup while the pot brews and the Burr grinder isn't as noisy as other grind and brew models
    • My wife and I love the coffee so much more when fresh ground, and it was a loyal morning partner for many years.
    • I really like the fresh grind feature - which was the main reason I bought the unit and paid more than I had planned for a new coffeemaker
    • I love the taste from the fresh ground beans, easy to clean.
    • Once the machine is done grinding, we turn the power off and the grind feature off as well
    • and I since we love our freshly ground and brew coffee every morning.
    • and I don't think it is that loud when grinding.
    • The grind did not seem as consistent as the Capresso, either
    • I clean the grinds out once a week
    • I love just pouring in the water, programming the start time, setting it at my desired amount and strength, then waking up to fresh ground/brewed coffee
    • Worth it to get fresh ground
    • I love setting it up before bed and having super fresh freshly ground coffee ready when I wake up
    • but if you want fresh ground coffee this model is perfect
    • I make 9 cups every day and the 8 setting and medium grind are perfect.
    • We only used reverse osmosis water in the unit, kept them very clean, loved the fresh ground coffee in the morning but the units are not reliable and their warranty stinks
    • The night before isn't as bad as buying pre-ground coffee, but I was hoping for perfection
    • Other than this major flaw in design its a good grind & brew coffee maker.
    • There is nothing more wonderful than smelling coffee grind and then drinking it.
    • There's noting like fresh brewed, fresh ground coffee
    • the grinds are rather chunky, even on strong, which means the grind mechanism does not grind for long enough = limit on how strong your coffee can get
    • Don't confuse this with being quiet - grinding coffee is not a quiet task
    • Far superior grind and brew, plus I love the slightly large carafe size.
    • This was the number one rated grind and brew in consumers reports back when it first came out and was the new fad (grind and brew was a fad then).
    • I love my Grind-and-Brew.
    • Nothing like fresh ground in the morning..
    • I just have to remember to clean the grind chute one a week or so
    • not as noisy as my small hand grinder) it really works great and has fresh ground coffee for me every morning!
    • The grind is different than in my old cheaper grind and brew
    • Love my new coffee maker, this model is not as loud as other grind and brews that I have..however the alarm on the unit is really low and I can barely hear it.
    • There is nothing like coffee made with fresh ground beans.
    • This is the best home grind and brew there is.
    • Love the fresh ground taste.
    • The only unfortunate side effect is that the coffee at work doesn't come close to the great flavor I get at home with fresh ground beans!
    • I would recommend the grind and brew to anyone who enjoys a great cup of fresh coffee
    • all features work as stated, reusable filter is eco-friendly, auto shut-offCons: Takes more cleaning than traditional setups (but really 3 minutes is manageable...first world problems), LOUD grinder, after 2 hours you can't easily keep the coffee hot as hitting the power would grind more coffee (this would require turning the grind off...a whole other button!), won't fit under traditional cabinets and allow water to be poured in, water level only visible on right side of machineOverall, we love our grind-and-brew
    • So I started experimenting with how to make the grind settings and brew strength work
    • Although the grind is a bit noisy (
    • The best coffee pot ever if you like fresh ground coffee!
    • The grinding is amazing which allows the full flavor of the bean to come through.
    • With 3 different brew strengths you can choose just the right grind for you, or turn the grinder off so you can use your favorite ground coffee .We love the automatic brew setting, we can prepare the coffee maker and set it to grind and brew before we wake up in the morning, what a great convenience to wake up to.
    • I'm very happy with my choice and purchase of the Cuisinart DGB-700 Grind-and-Brew 12 cup.
    • Awesome Grind and Brew Coffeemaker!
    • Fresh ground is the way to go for the best taste
    • Fresh ground coffee daily.
    • It's certainly helped us enjoy the daily flavor advantage of fresh ground for the first time
    • The grind and brew is awesome
    • We like the convience of it with the fresh brew and grind, timer, etc
    • The best grind and brew out there
    • Love fresh ground coffee! !!!
    • If I clean out all the old grinds before I make 12 cups it works OK.
    • As a Matter of fact my old grind and brew still works
    • After nearly a year of having this machine grind beans and make the brew, we remain impressed.
    • This was a bit more of an investment than I initially wanted, but if you are looking for a programable maker with a fresh grinding feature you will be pleased with this model! The burr grinder in this model does an excellent job and seems to be high quality.
    • and it is hard to clean the old grinds out of the grinder
    • I bought this coffee maker for my wife since she loves the fresh ground beans.
    • Nothing beats the fresh grind brew of this new machine.
    • I love this Grind and Brew so much, that it is the second one I purchased!
    • A good friend of ours also love the fresh grind coffee.
    • Excellent grind and brew coffee maker.
    • Love my fresh ground coffee every morning.
    • It makes the best fresh ground coffee!!
    • It is loud when grinding, but come on, it's grinding whole beans
    • We thoroughly enjoyed our Sears coffee grind and brew coffee maker until it died.
    • Nothing compares to fresh ground coffee that this machine makes!!
    • It's nice to have fresh ground coffee in the morning and my wife loves the fact that there are no more coffee grounds all over the counter from using a separate grinder.
    • Of course, I have to remember which I'm doing, or I will end up with both pre-ground & ground -- very strong and a waste of coffee
    • Varying the strength of fresh ground coffee is wonderful with just a touch of a button
    • We love the grind off option and use pregrind beans, and the machine brews it perfectly.
    • But this is not a big issue considering the joy you get from having a freshly ground and brewed cup of coffee.
    • Love my fresh grind & brewed coffee!
    • Accidentally killed our first Grind-and-Brew by removing the pot and leaving it on (don't do that)
    • There is nothing like the smell of fresh ground coffee in my kitchen in the morning!
    • The grind is significantly coarser on the old one and the coffee tastes weaker because of that.
    • Once you get one that doesn't clog while grinding and burn out the motor you will be happy with it
    • We love the smell of fresh ground coffee when we wake up in the morning; it just makes the day start with a smile
    • I genuinely feel that the grinder grinds significantly more than it should based on the settings, wasting a lot of coffee.. but other than that, I love this machine.
    • It is a good product, works well, and is worth getting if you enjoy waking up to fresh ground, fresh brewed coffee.
    • My old G&B always worked
    • The strength selector is great as I like my coffee strong
    • And if it ever fails I will immediately but another one just like it.
    • I have it set to grind for 12 cups of strong coffee but can only add enough water for just under 9 cups to get coffee as strong as I like it.
    • Other grind-n-brews we tried would beep every 2 minutes for up to an hour if we did not take the pot off.3
    • After purchasing 2 other grind-n-brews (and returning them) we ordered this one and love it!1
    • I really liked the look and convenience of the grind n brew and had good luck with Cuisinart brand coffee makers in the past but not this one.
