The single brew only worked with the attachment it came with and never the k-cups, not a huge issue but now am looking to replace the unit with anything besides Cuisinart

We were skeptical about the quality of the single serve brewing but we like it better than our Keurig.

It still makes very good brewed coffee, but I shouldn't have had to pay a premium to get that capability.

As with most Cuisinarts, there is the option to use a charcoal filter in the water reservoirs on each side, the heating plate has three different heat settings for the carafe after brewing, and this machine has an added feature of a "bold" setting for brewing (which I think produces a smoother brew flavor)

coffee you can not buy other brands i like to be able to choose what i like and be forced to buy their brand only plus this Cuisinart now give me the chose if i want fresh brewed coffee instead of a single cup which is really not as strong as i like it

The carafe brewer has different options like adjustable brew strength, carafe heat adjuster, and an auto-timer.

Worked for a month then the single brew stopped cycling

The brewing mesh works perfect and saves you from buying filters as well as the kcup side for single serve loose coffe

Mid January 2018 it started leaking from the bottom only while brewing k cups

Also, the warmer light isn't that bright since it on same light as brew and you can't tell warmer light is on

The grind and brew worked well, except the grinder attachment would get stuck, and after many years of use, the water resevoire would leak overnight, and the carafe would not keep the coffee hot

It made a really good pot of coffee, the single cup brewer was a great disappointment , grounds spilled out from the top every time it was opened after making a Keurig pod, falling on the counter, in the brewing well & in the cup if not removed... too much of a mess... hard to get an untainted cup of hot water for tea

That would probably be my only gripe,and I don't understand why they cant have an adjustable brew temp for these machines

The first unit had a defective brewing device for the large carafe.

I thought "well, it's a little slower brewing than others, but still it's pretty."

: I notice a difference in flavor between brewing gound coffee in the carafe vs. brewing ground coffee in the single serve

I was very excited to find this combo coffee maker because I like a single fresh-brewed cup in the evening.

The brew/warm button just isn’t as clear

Great brewed coffee.

Not only do I have fresh brewed coffee, but when I am in a hurry and don't have time to make a pot, I can brew a pod.

I looked for a long time for a unit like this that could save counter space, maintain the daily convenience of single cup server as well as brew a pot on a Saturday when I am not in such a rush.

Whether it is fresh brewed or on a timer she still have to throw it in the microwave.2: The single brew is barely hot when it comes out

Both the standard brew and the K-Cup are nice and easy to use and clean

You then insert the mini basket with your coffee and start the brewing cycle, no problem

Love the Auto brew also the fact that I can brew a one cup of coffee or

2- the fill opening is small and requires good aim to avoid spills.3- the single cup sputters while brewing and spits out drops of coffee on the counter

Perfect brew and temperature

I like fresh brewed pots, My wife likes K-cups.

It is not capable of heating the water for a single brew enough to make a good cup of coffee, although a full pot brew is very good

For those that want the best of both coffee worlds, fresh brewed, fresh beans and also the convenient K-cup, this machine does the trick
